Mental Canvas, Inc. is a software technology company whose unique platform has reimagined drawing for the digital age by enabling creations that can be experienced outside the confines of a page or a single moment in time. Mental Canvas picks up where pen and paper leave off, taking drawing to a place it's never been. Now, we're calling on creatives to join us in redefining what it means to draw. With $100K in prizes and 18 winners, we're looking for the most impressive and imaginative scenes created with Mental Canvas Draw™. Learn more at mentalcanvas.com/challengeDates:The Challenge runs from July 14, 2021 to Oct 11, 2021. There will be mini challenges for cash prizes throughout the duration of the contest. Registration is now open, and registration provides access to submission instructions.Categories:The challenge spans five categories: Architecture and Places, Education, Comics, Napkin Sketches, and Storytelling. Entrants may submit to multiple categories and the judges reserve the right to assign a category to an entry. The grand prizes will be selected from the entire group of entries, regardless of category.Prizes:The total ARV (approximate retail value) of all prizes is $100,000 (USD). There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner for the grand prize along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each of the 5 categories (18 prizes in total). The prize breakdown is as follows: Grand prize (across all submissions, regardless of category):1st: $25,000 2nd: $15,000 3rd: $10,000 Categories Winners (in each of the 5 categories): 1st: $5,000 (x5 winners) 2nd: $3,000 (x5 winners) 3rd: $2,000 (x5 winners)Eligibility:The competition is international, open to ages 13+.
