Description
Europan is a competition for young professional architects, landscape architects and urbanists under the age of 40 years. Several sites are presented under the common theme Living Cities: Metabolic and Inclusive Vitalities. Deadline september 17th 2021.
Fagerstrand: Design a visionary infrastructure for humans and wildlife before the village, its nature and abandoned industrial compound is transformed by hungry developers into a densely populated satellite city of the Oslo metropolitan area.

Levanger: Design an urban strategy and an innovative library to revitalize the historical town of Levanger, a town that struggles with the effects of heavy traffic, lack of activity and a centre where all buildings are protected as cultural heritage.

Hjertelia: Competition to design a housing project with community spaces, urban farming and coworking spaces on a controversial site outside of Oslo.

Registration:
Europan is open for multidisciplinary teams with at least one architect or landscape architect with a European degree or membership of a European professional organization. All participants must be under the age of 40 by the submission deadline.
Registration fee is 100EUR pr team.

Prizes:
For each site a winner, runner-up and honorable mentions is selected:
1st: 12 000 EUR
2nd: 6 000 EUR
