On the occasion of its sixth year of activity, the Banca del Fare project is looking for 10 students and young creatives to participate in a workshop on the theme of Brand identity (from naming, to logo, to identity visual overall) which will take place in the small village of Monesiglio (CN), at the Caldera-Saluzzo Castle, from 22 to 31 August 2021 on the occasion of the birth of the New Civic Library of Monesiglio.

The workshop is made up of 2 activieties, carried out in parallel by the 10 participants. The first, held by Ilaria Bossa, Art Director and Founder of MONO, a creative studio operating in the fields of graphic design, logo design and identity, will focus on the project of the visual appearance. The second, held by the couple of serigraphers and illustrators Eugenio Nittolo and André Tognon, will have the purpose of fixing the Vest on the physical support with the technique of screen printing on fabric and paper.

AimsThe workshop is aimed at creating the Brand Identity of the new Monesiglio Civic Library. A flexible space strongly characterized by a full and engaging story. Through a great initial research work in the area, we will gradually come to the identification of the main elements that will make up the visual pattern. All the elements of a Brand identity will be defined (from the naming, to the logo, to the overall visual identity) through a completely different approach from the usual canonical processes, aimed at sewing an identity dresslinked to the territory and its dynamics.

CostThe participation fee for the workshop is 50 € (registration fee and insurance costs). Food and accommodation, as well as excursions and visits are included in the contribution. There is no reimbursement for travel expenses to reach the Workshop venue.

Educational and university credits3 credits are foreseen for students of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Engineering of the Politecnico di Torino. The other participants will receive a certificate of attendance to the activities for a number equal to 75 hours of work.

Mandatory eligibility requirementsApplicants must attend or have attended a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, Visual Communication and Art Academies or an equivalent organization or academic institution whose work is related to the world of graphics / design / architecture. Candidates from abroad are welcome but the official language of the activities will be Italian.
